These lovely places are on the market in NYC. I could not stop "oohing" and "ahhing" as I looked at all of lovely features of each of them. I suppose that I would not have a problem making a home out of any of them...that is if I want to live in New York City. Wink!! Wink!!

Some Day...

The last couple days I have noticed that my passion for design has really come out. I am back to day dreaming about my ideal home and all of the little keepsakes that will go along with it. All I can say is that I can't wait to have a place of my own!!! However, for now, I will have to admire some of the wonderful photos taken by Bruce Buck from the New York Times.

Lovely Morning

I woke up this morning to a sweet note from the boy and yummy chocolate chip pancakes. I have to admit that it was a perfect start to a Friday morning and I think the weekend will continue to bring me lovely surprises. Here is what's on the agenda:

1. Movie night with the family!!

Plus, my dad will even be joining us, which is exciting.

(P.S. Jaime, I am taking your advice and going to check out Michael Jackson's movie.)

2. My cousins will be visiting and we have a wonderful dinner

planned for Saturday night. Oh and I really do hope that games are involved!!

3. Sushi on Sunday, which is my absolute favorite.

I could serioursly eat it every day.

Where does time go...

I was sitting on my couch today and was thinking that life is just flying by. It is scary to think that in just a few months I will be graduating and will no longer have the life of a college student. I can't tell you how excited I am about the next stage of my life, but at the same time I miss being a kid. I miss waking up in the morning to mom making breakfast. I miss playing for hours and hours with my American Girl dolls. I miss my Lion King shirt and hot pink leggings. I miss playing pirate ship on my swing set with the neighbors. I miss getting pushed around in the wheelbarrow. I miss lemonade stands on the corner. I miss...

Cocktail Casual

This weekend I was invited to a Gala and I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. The night will include cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Oh so fun!!! However, despite all of the jitters I am experiencing, I have also run into a minor problem. The invitation indicated that attire is suppose to be cocktail casual. Now for a cocktail party I typically dress up and get all fancy, but when you add the casual part, the dressing up part doesn't seem to go so well. So in preparation for Saturday night, I would absolutely love some ideas as to what "cocktail casual" means and what I should wear...

P.S. As far as I know I am not horrible will my fashion expertise,

but this has thrown me for a loop. Xo

P.S.S. I don't have these exact outfits, but I could find something similar.

Where I have been...

I told you that I would fill you in on what I have been up to and why my postings have been lacking these days. So here it goes:

1. Trouble at the Cupcake Shop - After lots of praying and weighing my options I decided to quit the cupcake shop. I was having trouble agreeing with how the shop was run and did not want to be apart of it. It was hard leaving because I grew to love the girls at the shop so much, but new that leaving was my best option.

2. Fun and Dating - I met a new guy at church and so far things have been going incredible well. We had our third date last night and he even made me dinner!!! I don't want to jump the gun, but I will keep you posted.

3. Graduating in May - I graduate in May and had the realization that I will be completely on my own in a very short time. Because of this I have decided that I need to really crack down on my studies and begin hunting for a potential job!!!

Surprise Encounter!!!

Oh my goodness...so I realize that I am doing an absolutely terrible job of blogging this month. I have good reasons, however, which I will share with you later. Today I will make things brief, but I had to inform all of you Bachelorette fans that I actually came in contact with one of Jillian's bachelors.

I was at the Nuggets game with some friends and happened to see this incredibly familiar person out of the corner of my eye. Low and behold it was Mark from the Bachelorette. I know that most of you are probably thinking that I am crazy, but when I see someone that has been on T.V. it is something to get excited about!!! Plus, I will admit that he was quite cute.
